Parks, Facilities and Fields
The Town of Cornelius provides an abundance of parks, trails, recreational areas, open spaces and recreation and arts centers. These public facilities preserve and enhance the quality of life and the environment for the citizens of Cornelius. The Town has 262 acres of developed parks, seven miles of trails and greenways and over 120 acres of undeveloped greenway and park land.

Caldwell Station Greenway: A walking and bicycle trail
Access from Glenridge to the Caldwell Station Greenway are:
1.) Coachman's Trace to Glenashley Dr. to Glenmeade Rd. Parking on Glenashley Dr.
2.) Oakhurst Blvd. dead ends on the Greenway. No parking available.
